Guild Quest is a fun way for us to recognize and reward when Drama Guild members help make our community the best it can be.

You can earn Guild Quest Points by demonstrating our Core Values, including:

Be Dependable
Be a Problem Solver

Grow Your Craft
Pass the Torch

Our Community Agreement goes into more detail about what these values look like in action. Things like supporting each other, assuming best intent, being a team player, helping solve problems, and contributing to a positive and safe Drama Guild community. 

How Do I Earn Points?

There are several ways to earn Guild Quest Points:

👀 Get Caught Doing Something Great

Ms. Maletz, Mr. Baker, Sara, or Kristy may spot you doing something that exemplifies our Core Values and award you points on the spot!

If another adult awards you points when Ms. Maletz isn't there, they'll let her know so the points can officially be added to our total.

📜 Nominate a Fellow Guild Member

Not everything awesome will get noticed by an adult. Did you see someone help a teammate? Solve a problem? Step up when they were needed? Make the room a better place? Nominate them!

Click the “Nominate!” button on the Guild Quest page and tell us what happened. The more details you can give us, the better! 

You can also tell an adult about something awesome you saw. We'll make sure it gets considered.

Nominations are not automatically guaranteed to earn points. Ms. Maletz will review each nomination and determine whether points are awarded and how many.

What Can I Do With My Points?

Guild Quest Points belong to the Guild (not to individual students). Everyone contributes to one shared point total, and those points can be used toward rewards and prizes for the Guild.

When the Guild has enough points for a suggested prize, any student can ask for a vote to redeem our points at the beginning or end of any rehearsal.

If a majority of the Guild votes yes, we'll spend the Guild's points to redeem that prize!

💡 Suggest a Prize

Have an idea for something the Guild could work toward? Use the “Suggest a Prize” button to submit your idea!

Prizes can be suggested at any time, so keep those ideas coming!

Current Prize Offers:

🍬 Candy of Choice — 50 Points
Choose from a selection of candy options, with the final candy decided by Guild vote. The winning candy will be brought to an upcoming rehearsal.

🍿 Snacks of Choice — 100 Points
Choose from a selection of snack options, with the top 2–3 choices decided by Guild vote. The winning snacks will be brought to an upcoming rehearsal.

⏰ 30-Minute Early Release — 100 Points
The Guild may vote to end a non-mandatory rehearsal 30 minutes early.
If the requested rehearsal isn't a good one to end early based on where we are in the production process, Ms. Maletz may choose a different upcoming non-mandatory rehearsal for the Guild to leave 30 minutes early.

👕 Pajama Rehearsal - 100 Points
Everyone can wear their pajamas to an upcoming rehearsal.
This cannot be used for a rehearsal where we are meant to be in costume.

🍕 Pizza Party — 200 Points
Pizza will be provided at an upcoming rehearsal, with toppings decided by Guild vote.

💈 Choose Ms. Maletz’s Hair Color — 500 Points
Choose Ms. Maletz’s hair color! The new color will go into effect within one week of redemption. Any color is fair game except brown or black (because those are too difficult to get back out).

🌟 A Few Things to Know 🌟

Guild Quest is meant to be fun! It's a way to recognize and reward the ways we make Drama Guild a safe, supportive, fun place to be,  and a place where we can put on great shows together.

You don't have to do anything extra for Guild Quest to exist. You can lean into it as much as you want. Go for those points, nominate your friends, and help the Guild unlock awesome rewards! Or you can mostly ignore it. You'll still be part of the Guild, and you'll still benefit from the rewards we unlock together.

Of course, it will be more fun if people choose to play along. 🎭

💚 Points Only Go Up

Guild Quest Points can be earned, but they cannot be taken away.

Guild Quest is about recognizing the good things we do. If someone isn't meeting Drama Guild expectations, that's something we'll address separately. We're not taking away points as a punishment. The only way our Guild Point total goes down is when we choose to redeem points for a reward. 

So: no point deductions, no leaderboard, no pressure. Just a chance to notice the people who are helping make the Guild better.

The more people who lean into it, the more fun it can be. Let's see what we can unlock!
