Each spring, students may apply for Drama Guild leadership positions for the following school year. These roles offer a meaningful opportunity to grow as leaders, collaborate closely with peers and staff, and play an active role in shaping our productions and community.
With the exception of Assistant Director and Assistant Stage Manager, all positions are year-long and support both the Fall Play and Spring Musical. Student leaders work in collaboration with the Drama Guild Director and, in some cases, parent volunteer leaders, to help guide their respective areas.
Student leadership in Drama Guild is rooted in collaboration and responsibility. While student leaders are trusted with meaningful ownership of their work, all roles operate under the guidance of the Drama Guild Director, who maintains final approval over major decisions to ensure consistency, safety, and the overall success of the production.
Because these roles are essential to the program, student leaders are expected to communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and follow through on their responsibilities. Support and guidance will always be provided, and regular check-ins will help ensure students are set up for success. If expectations are not being met, the Director will meet with the student to problem-solve and determine next steps.
